AI-Powered Workflow Automation for Law Firm Operations

Law firm administrators are fielding more questions about AI than ever, but most of the conversation stays at the level of hype or anxiety. This session cuts through both by focusing on what actually works today: identifying the firm workflows where AI delivers measurable time savings, demonstrating those tools live, and giving attendees a practical framework for evaluating new technology against their firm's security, compliance, and operational requirements.

Before the session, attendees complete a short survey capturing their current pain points, workflow bottlenecks, and comfort level with AI. The results feed into a custom dashboard that shares the session content in real time, so every example and demonstration maps directly to what you deal with day to day. 

Spencer X. Smith helps law firms and professional services organizations cut through AI noise and focus on what actually works. As Principal of Ampliphl LLC, he delivers hands-on workshops and keynotes that translate emerging technology into practical, Monday-morning action plans for legal administrators, firm leadership, and operations teams. 

Spencer spent over two decades in professional services, including seven years in B2B financial services distribution and an early career foundation at IBM. He is a graduate of the Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and teaches Digital Asset Forensics for the U.S. Department of Justice.

This meeting occurs on the second Thursday of every other month. Guest speakers present educational topics relevant to legal administration.
